How Does Our Gin Change Colour?

After our gin is infused with our award-winning selection of botanicals, Torbay Gin is steeped in blue butterfly pea flowers, changing its colour over time. The butterfly pea flowers infuse with the gin to change its colour in a completely natural way.

Then, when your mixer or choice of citrus is added, the colour changes to a vibrant pink!

How Do We Drink Torbay Gin?

It's great in a gin and tonic - we love to pair it with a Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic. In 2023, we won IWSC Gold for our Torbay Gin in the gin and tonic category. This was the only gin in the UK to do so (one of 6 in the world!) So we can officially say - Torbay Gin makes the UK's best gin and tonic, for the gins colour change and its smooth taste!

It works fantastically in a cocktail, both due to its stunning colour changing element and its coastal botanical blend.

The Inspiration Behind Our Colour Changing Gin

As a team born and bred on The English Riviera, we have an incredible love for the beauty of our South Devon surroundings. We wanted to create a gin that reflects just that - the stunning blue of the Torbay waters in the summer time, changing colour to the stunning pink skies of the coastal sunsets we all know and love.
